Scott Burrell
With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, Scott’s career has taken him across the UK, Ireland, and Asia, performing as a touring drummer, and recording with renowned artists like The Coaltown Daisies, Andrew Alston (Del Amitri) and Rebecca Connelly, His expertise has been featured in drumming magazines, and he has performed on televised BBC programmes.
As a co-founder of Red Rock Music, established in 2017 with singer-songwriter Rebecca Connelly, Scott’s work earned the Angus Community Business Award in 2018. Scott has over twenty years of experience as a dedicated music tutor. He’s worked with diverse groups, from school pupils to elderly communities, including SEN groups, recovery programmes, and employability initiatives. His mission is to make music accessible to all, sharing the joy of drumming with people of every background.
Scott’s passion doesn’t stop at drumming - he’s also an experienced sound engineer, continuously enhancing the Red Rock Music studio to provide outstanding audio recording facilities.
